LAKE RAMSEY SURVEY 2011

191 Responses = 53% of Property Owners
1.  How do you feel about the spikes in the front of the neighborhood?  good call /  bad call?  They keep drivers from entering the exit gate and eliminate damage to this gate.  However, they are not pleasant to drive over.  Do you want to keep them (Keep) or would you be willing to pull them up (Pull) knowing that they cost us $3,500?
2.  Does it concern you that Lake Ramsey has many trash contractors who pick up every day of the week, causing much wear and tear on our roads and leaving cans out daily.  Would you be interested in two pickups per week at a price of less than $20/month with only one trash contractor for the neighborhood?
Keep =    53 or 28% of responses and 15% of Property Owners
Pull    =  127 or 66% of responses and 35% of Property Owners
Yes = 127 or 66% of responses and 35% of Property Owners
No   =   64 or 34% of responses and 18% of Property Owners
3.  Should the HOA Board members survey the general membership whenever they consider rules, policies, or expenditures that are not essential to:
    1)  supporting the maintenance and upkeep of the subdivision's lake and surrounding property
    2)  daily operating expenses (utilities, etc.)
    3)  emergencies affecting our resources or the health and welfare of residents?
Yes = 165 or 86% of responses and 46% of Property Owners
No   =   26 or   4% of responses and   7% of Property Owners
4.  Do you think the residents of Lake Ramsey should implement and support a Neighborhood Watch program?

Yes = 153 or 80% of responses and 43% of Property Owners
No   =   32 or 17% of responses and   9% of Property Owners
5.  Other than lake maintenance, what is the most significant issue that the HOA should be addressing?

    *  Gate/Security -  Many had this concern, primarily because of the absence of a gate.  With the installation of a new gate and a
Neighborhood Watch Program, many of these concerns would be addressed.

    *  Board Attitude - Inability to address the board at its meetings and the preception that the board does what it wants rather than
listen to the residents is a major concern.

    *  Covenant Enforcement/Interpretation - Many were concerned that they received a violation letter for something that they see
throughout the subdivision.  Uniform enforcement (e.g., speeding, golf carts, 4-wheelers, underaged drivers, etc.)
                               is a major concern.

    *  Beautification - The entrance to our subdivision needs much attention.   Hay bales, black plastic, etc. should be cleaned up.
This is the first impression people see as they enter.
